The quadlines are great for recreational outdoor skating. The 10mm large wheels roll over uneven pavement with ease. The shocks provide a smooth ride. The extra wide trucks provide lots of stability, on the other hand make it difficult to make tight turns. The right skate has two back brakes, similar to inline skates (regular quad skates have front brakes), making stops easy.You will get a lot of attention in these as they definitely look cool and unconventional. I get stopped all the time when I'm skating on these by people asking questions about them. Some of the comments I've gotten were: Cool, these are like cars for your feet!
In summary, if you're looking to skate outdoors recreationally these are the skates for you. If you're looking to skate for fitness, these are NOT for you. You will not get much of a leg or cardio workout with these. I've skated up and down hill with these and didn't even break a sweat.
