Roller Derby Men's Formula Z-7 Speed Quad Skate Review

Ok, so I am a Rollerblade/Ice hockey guy.
Never really tried roller skates till I got involved with a new Derby league.
The girls and coach started to give me a hard time about the blades so I began to borrow some skates.
Three times I used very nice Reidells' and they were $190.00 new.
Last night I got to try these out and I am very impressed.
Very comfy, no long break-in time, fast and light.
After 20 minutes we made an adjustment to the trucks and it was even better.
I felt very good and when I get better wheels it will be great.
The skates run slightly large I think, but thick socks did the trick.
Also, they look way better in person than in the stock picture.
You can spend way more and get way less, I looked for weeks and compared a lot of price ranges and brands.
These will become my outdoor skates when I can spend over $200.00 for a better pair, but for 49 bucks?
Excellent value !

HYPER Inline Skate Wheels GREEN MACHINE 90mm Racing Review

hey i like to scooter but these wheels suck no offence the midle comes out in like 5 secounds. but they are good for young riders like 8 and under
but when you land you cant even hear your self hope this helps :)

DC Men's Court Graffik SE Skate Shoe Review

When your 12 year old has size 18 feet, shoes are hard to find. Got these for less than usual retail price. Shoes are heavy and have a lot of padding like most skate shoes, but we were very pleased to find skate shoes in his size. His feet are still growing, and we wouldn't be surprised to see our son with a size 25 shoe size before he's done, but he's only 5 foot 5, and still growing, and maybe DC will make these in a size 25 eventually. Heelys Men's Lighten Up Skate Shoe Review

I'm very happy with my purchase.It's a great heely in disguise.everyone thinks they're chucks until they see the bottom.i'm also very pleased with the color.

i did also notice that the wheels have been slowed... it's nice but i prefer my old wheels cause they're faster... though the new ones would make learning easier.

Bladerunner Girls Phaser 4-Size Adjustable Skate Review

These skates seem to be good enough quality, however I feel there is a MAJOR flaw in sizing. My 8 yr old daughter wears a size 1 1/2 shoe.I ordered the 1-4 size so she could use them for a while. They are barely long enough even when extended all the way to "4". I won't be getting my money's worth out of these.

Hot Wheels Inline Skates (Size J10-13) Review

This skate is a good value. It's great for the kid just starting to skate and will grow with them four sizes. It's a very sturdy skate with great wheels. The bearings are not very good, but that's okay when your child is learning to skate because the wheels do not spin too fast. You can always change the bearings later when they are better at skating. The size adjustment is a little hard to use. However, you won't use it that often and the skate won't slip to another size while your child is skating. I think that there is a Barbie skate for girls.

Rollerblade Speedmachine 8 Men's Skate Review

I purchased these skates for cross training to loss some weight just to change a bit my habit of exercise, I just love them, they are comfy and smoothed on the pavement and they feel excellent. Well built skates. I would recommend these skates any day.

Freeline Skates Review

I bought these after being disappointed with the small amount of speed I got from my ripstik.After watching the instructional video on Youtube, and seeing a great deal of fun tricks being done, I wanted to get Freelines.

The first day I bought them, I couldn't help but follow the instructional video's advice of holding onto a sturdy hand-rail and moving myself back and forth with my arms.Seriously, I couldn't leave that rail until after four or five hours of practice (my time on the rail was split across a few days).

I had two main challenges as a beginner, the first was learning to forcefully twist my feet to steer, and the second was using this twisting to steer both feet independently.This takes practice.

When I first started moving along a sidewalk, a large problem shows itself: the presence of cracks, twigs, and rocks.It doesn't take much to stop you if you're putting along at beginner speeds, and that means you're suddenly off of your skates.Don't worry too much, because if you slip and fall, you just let gravity take your foot straight down and it's on the ground, safe and sturdy.

After a couple weeks, I became comfortable enough to use it as a method of transportation.My speed feels like a slow run.Maybe 5 to 8 mph.Speeds are hard to hold on rough asphalt, but I'm sure I've gotten past 10 mph.

These skates were built for going down hills, where skaters report going well over 30 mph.All of my riding has been on flat surfaces; I just haven't had time to go out to a hill.

I'm not sure if it's entirely caused by these skates, but I believe I should mention that my knees feel a little worse for wear.

Using these skates takes leg muscle, control, and practice, but for now they seem worth the effort.
